Rialto will bring back to U.S. cinemas William Richert's thriller Winter Kills (1979), starring Jeff Bridges, John Huston, Anthony Perkins, Eli Wallach, and Sterling Hayden. Newly-struck 35mm prints will be unveiled at New York's Film Forum on August 11 and L.A.'s New Beverly Cinema on August 25.
Synopsis: Based on a novel by Richard Condon (The Manchurian Candidate), William Richert's brilliantly off-kilter conspiracy thriller features an all-star cast, including Jeff Bridges (Jagged Edge), John Huston (Breakout), Elizabeth Taylor (Secret Ceremony), Tomas Milian (The Last Movie), and many other famous faces.
