Warner Archive has announced that it will add six new titles to its Blu-ray catalog this August. They are: Wichita (1955), Spinout (1966), Little Women (1933), The Life of Emile Zola (1937), Gay Purr-ee (1962), and Father's Little Dividend (1951).
Wichita
Description: Joel McCrea stars as former buffalo hunter and Western entrepreneur Wyatt Earp in this CinemaScope® oater directed by the great Jacques Tourneur. When he arrives the wild frontier town of Wichita, Earp is reluctant to accept the lawman job offered to him, but when he does, his first action is to confiscate all firearms within his jurisdiction, forcing a confrontation between the lone marshal and all the gunslingers in the violent Western outpost. Co-starring Vera Miles and Lloyd Bridges, Wichita is a supreme action-packed Western classic, produced by Oscar®-winner Walter Mirisch.

And sexy drummer Les hears wedding bells whenever she thinks of Mike. M-G-M studio veterans Joe Pasternak and Norman Taurog served as Producer and Director respectively for this tune-filled musical comedy.

Gay Purr-ee

Robert Goulet voices the object of Mewsette's affection Jaune Tom, with comedic support from Red Buttons as Robespierre. The clever script was devised by animation master Chuck Jones and his wife, Dorothy. The terrific score is by Harold Arlen and E.Y, Harburg, reuniting Garland with the gents who created the songs for "The Wizard of Oz". Gay Purr-ee is grand entertainment for audiences of all ages.
