For the week of July 10th, Paramount Home Media Distribution will release Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett's Scream VI, starring Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding.

Studio description: Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera ("Sam Carpenter"), Jasmin Savoy Brown ("Mindy Meeks-Martin"), Mason Gooding ("Chad Meeks-Martin"), Jenna Ortega ("Tara Carpenter"), Hayden Panettiere ("Kirby Reed") and Courteney Cox ("Gale Weathers") return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.

Paramount's releases of Scream VI contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include filmmaker commentary and six featurettes. In addition to standard packaging, a SteelBook edition will also be available.

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is Jalmari Helander's Sisu, starring Jorma Tommila, Jack Doolan, Aksel Hennie, Onni Tommila and Mimosa Willamo.

Studio description: During the last desperate days of WWII, a solitary prospector (Jorma Tommila) crosses paths with Nazis on a scorched-earth retreat in northern Finland. When the Nazis steal his gold, they quickly discover that they have just tangled with no ordinary miner. While there is no direct translation for the Finnish word "sisu", this legendary ex-commando will embody what sisu means: a white-knuckled form of courage and unimaginable determination in the face of overwhelming odds. And no matter what the Nazis throw at him, the one-man death squad will go to outrageous lengths to get his gold back – even if it means killing every last Nazi in his path.

Lionsgate's releases of Sisu include Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include two featurettes. In addition to standard packaging, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook will also be available.

Also from Lionsgate is a Blu-ray for Ari Aster's Beau Is Afraid, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Zoe Lister-Jones, Parker Posey, Michael Gandolfini and Amy Ryan.

Description: A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film from writer/director Ari Aster.

Finally from Lionsgate is a Blu-ray for Kelly Fremon Craig's Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret., starring Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, Benny Safdie, Abby Ryder Fortson and Elle Graham.

Description: For over fifty years, Judy Blume's classic and groundbreaking novel Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. has impacted generations with its timeless coming of age story, insightful humor, and candid exploration of life's biggest questions.

Lionsgate's Blu-ray of Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. contains the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include a making of and several shorter featurettes. New this week from Cleopatra comes a Blu-ray for Shinji Higuchi's Shin Ultraman, starring Takumi Saitoh, Masami Nagasawa, Hidetoshi Nishijima, Akari Hayami and Koji Yamamoto.

Description: There's never a dull day on Japan's newly established SSSP Kaiju defense taskforce, led by Kimio Tamura, played by DRIVE MY CAR's Hidetoshi Nishijima. After a particularly challenging encounter, a silver giant descends from the sky to rescue the planet. Dubbed Ultraman, this giant's identity and purpose are a mystery. SHIN ULTRAMAN is a delightful reimagining of one of Japan's classic superheroes, full of cosmic twists, charismatic villains, and giant Kaiju. New this week from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is a Blu-ray for Tomek Baginski's Knights of the Zodiac, starring Mackenyu, Famke Janssen, Madison Iseman, Diego Tinoco, Mark Dacascos, Nick Stahl and Sean Bean.

Description: Based on the international anime sensation, Knights of the Zodiac brings the Saint Seiya saga to the big screen in live-action for the first time. Seiya (Mackenyu), a headstrong street teen, spends his time fighting for cash while he searches for his abducted sister. When one of his fights unwittingly taps into mystical powers he never knew he had, Seiya finds himself thrust into a world of warring saints, ancient magical training and a reincarnated goddess who needs his protection. If he's to survive, he will need to embrace his destiny and sacrifice everything to take his rightful place among the Knights of the Zodiac.

Sony's Blu-ray of Knights of the Zodiac contains deleted scenes, character vignettes, concept art and more.

Also coming from Sony this week is a Blu-ray for Benjamin Millepied's Carmen (2022), starring Paul Mescal, Melissa Barrera, Rossy de Palma and The D.O.C..

Studio description: Benjamin Millepied's Carmen is a gritty modern day tale, with a majestic score by Nicholas Britell, and dream-like dance sequences that evoke magic realism. The story follows a young and fiercely independent woman who is forced to flee her home in the Mexican desert following the brutal murder of her mother, another strong and mysterious woman. Carmen survives a terrifying and dangerous illegal border crossing into the US, only to be confronted by a lawless volunteer border guard who cold-bloodedly murders two other immigrants in her group. New this week from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is Bill Holderman's Book Club: The Next Chapter, starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson, Giancarlo Giannini, Andy Garcia and Don Johnson.

Description: The highly anticipated sequel follows our four best friends as they take their book club to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.

Universal's Blu-ray of Book Club: The Next Chapter contains three featurettes.

New on Blu-ray from Vertical Entertainment is Damián Szifron's To Catch a Killer, starring Shailene Woodley, Ben Mendelsohn, Ralph Ineson, Jovan Adepo and Mark Antony Krupa.

Label description: Baltimore. New Year's Eve. A talented but troubled police officer (Shailene Woodley) is recruited by the FBI's chief investigator (Ben Mendelsohn) to help profile and track down a disturbed individual terrorizing the city.

New on Blu-ray from Well Go USA is Joey De Guzman's Day Zero, starring Brandon Vera, Pepe Herrera, MJ Lastimosa, Joey Marquez, and Ricci Rivero.

Description: A former elite soldier is released from jail only to discover that the outside world has been taken over by a dangerous virus. Chased by hordes of the undead, he fights tooth and nail in a desperate attempt to reach his estranged family.

New on Blu-ray from IFC Films is Marie Kreutzer's Corsage, starring Vicky Krieps, Colin Morgan, Finnegan Oldfield, Raphael von Bargennand Alma Hasun.

Description: Empress Elisabeth of Austria is known for her beauty and fashion trends. But in 1877, she celebrates her 40th birthday and must fight to maintain her public image. With a future of only ceremonial duties in front of her, she rebels against her public image and comes up with a plan to protect her legacy.

IFC's Blu-ray of Corsage contains a Behind-the-scenes featurette.

Coming to Blu-ray from Cinema Guild is Hong Sang-soo's The Novelist's Film (소설가의 영화), starring Lee Hye-yeong, Kim Min-hee, Seo Younghwa, Mi-so Park and Yunhee Cho.

Description: Junhee (Lee Hyeyoung, last seen in Hong's In Front of Your Face) is a novelist who's grown disenchanted with her own writing. On a trip to see an old friend, she runs into a film director who was set to adapt one of her novels before the project fell through. One chance encounter leads to another and soon she finds herself having lunch with Kilsoo (Kim Minhee), a well-known actress also questioning her role as an artist. It's then that Junhee has an epiphany: she will make a film starring Kilsoo. It won't be like other films. It will be the novelist's film.

Cinema Guild's Blu-ray of The Novelist's Film contains a greeting from Hong Sang-soo, a press conference from the Berlin International Film Festival, a theatrical trailer and a booklet with an essay by Annabel Brady-Brown.

Finally for new releases, Grasshopper Film has a Blu-ray for Albert Serra's Pacifiction, starring Benoît Magimel, Pahoa Mahagafanau, Marc Susini, Matahi Pambrun and Alexandre Melo.

Description: Winner of César Awards for Best Actor (Benoît Magimel) and Best Cinematography, Pacifiction is a gripping atmospheric thriller from acclaimed filmmaker Albert Serra.

On the French Polynesian island of Tahiti, the High Commissioner of the Republic and French government official De Roller (Magimel) is a calculating man with flawless manners. His somewhat broad perception of his role brings him to navigate the high-end' establishment' as well as shady venues where he mingles with the locals. Especially since a persistent rumor has been going around: the sighting of a submarine whose ghostly presence could herald the return of French nuclear testing. A Grasshopper Film and Gratitude Films Co-Release.

Grasshopper Film's Blu-ray of Pacifiction contains a Q & A with Albert Serra and the film's theatrical trailer.

Turning to catalog titles, Ignite Films has a standard edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray for William Cameron Menzies' Invaders from Mars (1953), starring Helena Carter, Arthur Franz, Jimmy Hunt, Leif Erickson, Hillary Brooke. Originally released as a limited edition in December 2022, Ignite Films presents Invaders from Mars from a new 4K master, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio and in SDR on the 4K UHD disc. Coming to 4K UHD from Shout Factory is Tony Maylam's The Burning (1981), starring Brian Matthews, Leah Ayres, Brian Backer, Larry Joshua and Jason Alexander. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Shout presents The Burning with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras duplicate the previous Shout Blu-ray and include two audio commentaries, several interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, trailers and more.

Finally this week, the Criterion Collection has two new additions. First is a Blu-ray and 4K UHD debut for Martin Scorsese's After Hours (1985), starring Griffin Dunne, Rosanna Arquette, Verna Bloom, Tommy Chong and Linda Fiorentino. Criterion presents After Hours from a new 4K master, approved by editor Thelma Schoonmaker, with LPCM Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include newly updated filmmaker commentary, deleted scenes, a new interview with Scorsese by writer Fran Lebowitz, a new program on the look of the film, a making of documentary and more. Then from Criterion is a Blu-ray for Cheryl Dunye's The Watermelon Woman (1996), starring Cheryl Dunye, Guinevere Turner, Christopher Mann, Orion McCabe. Sourced from a new 2K master supervised by the filmmakers, Criterion presents The Watermelon Woman with DTS-HD MA 3.0 audio. Extras include a new interview with Dunye, a new conversation between Dunye and artist-filmmaker Martine Syms and six short films by Dunye.
