Discotek Media has announced its September batch of Blu-ray releases. They are: Jean's Blues: No Future, The Legend of Calamity Jane, CB Chara Go Nagai World, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: Detonation, and Sgt. Frog: The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons.
Jean's Blues: No Future
Description: A modern-day (Japan, 1974) take on Bonnie and Clyde, as a car accident between two stolen vehicles throws together Hijiriko, on the run from boredom and sleaze of her job, and Jiro, who barely escaped with his life after stealing millions of yen from murderous goons. One more stolen car later, the two are on the road, traveling across Japan with a certain destination in mind, committing further crimes as they go.
