John Wick: Chapter 4 topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts. The fourth installment in the
John Wick series saw the titular hitman in yet more outrageous gun battles and fight sequences, as he takes revenge on the High Table over a whopping 169 minutes of nearly non-stop action. The film opened in March 2023 to near-universal acclaim and topped the box office on its opening weekend, with over $73 million. So far, the film has made over $187 million domestically and over $427 million globally. This week,

Dropping to second place on both charts is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's
The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Released theatrically in April 2023, the animated adaptation of the hugely popular Nintendo video game series received mixed reviews, but smashed several box office records, including taking only a week to become the highest-grossing film based on a video game and becoming the highest-grossing film of 2023, with over $572 million domestically and a staggering $1.3 billion worldwide, so far. The Super Mario Bros. Movie sold 59% as many Blu-ray units as
John Wick: Chapter 4, with an HD share of 64% and 18% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Remaining in third place on both charts in its second week is Paramount Home Media Distribution's
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. The action comedy is based on the titular role-playing game which was previously adapted as a theatrical film in 2000 and two direct-to-video sequels, This reboot has no connection to those films and opened in March 2023 to generally positive reviews. topping the box office on its opening weekend en route to over $93 million domestically and over $208 million globally. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves sold 8% as many Blu-ray units as
John Wick: Chapter 4, with an HD share of 62% and 17% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Elsewhere on the charts, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's
The Pope's Exorcist debuted at No. 4 on the Blu-ray-only chart. Outside the top ten, Well Go USA's
Sakra came in at No. 18, while MVD Visual's release of
Rain Man came in at No. 19.
