UK studio Network is entering the Blu-ray arena with its announcement of the release of the cult 1960s TV series '
The Prisoner' on BD for September 28. The series will be available in a six-disc limited edition box set. As we reported
back in June, this title will also be released
in the US by A&E on October 27, but edition details may differ.
Extras for the UK edition include:
- Don't Knock Yourself Out: a feature-length documentary which is the most comprehensive look at the production of ‘The Prisoner', told by those involved in its creation
- Restored original edit of "Arrival", with an optional music-only soundtrack featuring Wilfred Josephs' complete and abandoned score
