In its second week on shelves, '
Fast & Furious' remained the top-selling Blu-ray for the week ended August 9, according to data from Nielsen VideoScan First Alert. '
Race to Witch Mountain', which was the number-one title of the week on DVD, only managed a second place on BD, although sales volumes for both titles were very close.

Regarding BD market share for new releases, 'Race to Witch Mountain' got 11%, a respectable figure for a family title. '
The Soloist' and '
Obsessed' got 8% and 6%, respectively.
Overall, BD sales revenue was $16.11 million, up 207.73% from the same week last year. DVD sales revenue was $165.75 million, down 4.53% year-on-year.
Blu-ray accounted for 8.9% of total packaged-media sales revenue.
