For the week of March 6th, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment,in association with MGM, will release a Blu-ray of Sarah Polley's Women Talking, starring Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, Judith Ivey, Frances McDormand and Ben Whishaw. Based on the 2018 novel of the same name, which itself was based on actual events that took place in Mennonite community of Manitoba Colony in Bolivia between 2005 and 2009, Women Talking follows a group of Mennonite women who discover that men in the colony are responsible for drugging and raping them. Living in a society dominated by men, the women cannot read or write, so instead they have to talk about whether to leave, stay and fight, or do nothing. The film opened in December 2022 to strong reviews and has been nominated for two Oscars at the upcoming Academy Awards: Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture.

New on Blu-ray this week from RLJE Films is Joe Begos' Christmas Bloody Christmas, starring Riley Dandy, Sam Delich, Jonah Ray, Dora Madison and Jeff Daniel Phillips.

Label description: It's Christmas Eve and fiery record store owner Tori Tooms just wants to get drunk and party, until the robotic Santa Claus at a nearby toy store goes haywire and makes her night more than a little complicated. Santa Claus begins a rampant killing spree through the neon drenched snowscape against a backdrop of drugs, sex, metal and violence, ultimately forcing Tori into a blood splattered battle for survival against the ruthless heavy metal Saint Nick himself.

RLJE Films' Blu-ray of Christmas Bloody Christmas contains the featurettes Behind the Scenes of Christmas Bloody Christmas, The SFX of Christmas Bloody Christmas and The Cast of Christmas Bloody Christmas.

New this week from Cohen Media Group is a Blu-ray for Eran Kolirin's Let It Be Morning, starring Juna Suleiman, Salim Daw, Ehab Salami, Khalifa Natour and Izabel Ramadan.

Label description: Israel's official submission for Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards®, and an official selection at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Sami lives in Jerusalem with his wife and child, and an invitation to his brother's wedding forces him to return to the Arab village where he grew up. After the wedding, with no warning or explanation, the village is put under military lockdown by Israeli soldiers and cut off from the outside world. Chaos rises overnight amongst those stuck within the walls. Director Eran Kolirin (The Band's Visit) brings Sayed Kashua's bestselling novel to life, exposing the absurdist world of Palestinian reality while highlighting human stories of being trapped in an unexpected situation.

Turning to catalog titles, Kino Lorber have several this week, starting with a Blu-ray for Joe May's Asphalt (1929), starring Gustav Fröhlich, Hans Albers, Albert Steinrück, Hans Adalbert Schlettow and Paul Hörbiger. Extras on Kino's Blu-ray include audio commentary by film historian Anthony Slide.

Then from Kino is a Blu-ray for Alexander Hall's Little Miss Marker (1934), starring Adolphe Menjou, Dorothy Dell, Charles Bickford, Shirley Temple and Lynne Overman. Extras on Kino's Blu-ray include a new audio commentary by film critic/author Lee Gambin and costume historian Elissa Rose, as well as a trailer.

Also from Kino is a Blu-ray for Cecil B. DeMille's The Crusades (1935), starring Loretta Young, Henry Wilcoxon, Ian Keith, C. Aubrey Smith and Katherine DeMille. Sourced from a new 2K master, extras on Kino's Blu-ray include audio commentary by filmmaker Allan Arkush and film historian/filmmaker Daniel Kremer, as well as the film's theatrical trailer.

Also from Kino is a remastered Blu-ray for David Greenwalt's Secret Admirer (1985), starring C. Thomas Howell, Lori Loughlin, Kelly Preston, Cliff De Young, and Fred Ward. Sourced from a new 2K master, extras on Kino's Blu-ray include new audio commentary by David Greenwalt, co-writer Jim Kouf and associate producer Lynn Kouf, moderated by historian/filmmaker Daniel Kremer, radio spots and the film's theatrical trailer. Collectible packaging includes a limited edition slipcover.

Finally from Kino is a remastered Blu-ray for Susan Seidelman's Making Mr. Right (1987), starring John Malkovich, Ann Magnuson, Glenne Headly, Ben Masters and Laurie Metcalf. Sourced from a new 2K master, extras on Kino's Blu-ray include new audio commentary by Susan Seidelman and Ann Magnuson, as well as new interviews with Seidelman and Magnuson, and a newly remastered theatrical trailer. Collectible packaging includes a limited edition slipcover.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have two more additions to the Warner Archive Collection this week. They are:

George Cukor's Camille (1936), starring Greta Garbo, Robert Taylor, Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, Jessie Ralph and Henry Daniell.

Description: Beautiful Marguerite Gauthier (Greta Garbo) lifts herself out of her poverty-stricken upbringing by becoming the enchanting "Lady of the Camellias," well-kept courtesan of the rich and influential Baron de Varville (Henry Daniell). When young Armand (Robert Taylor) falls in love with Marguerite, his sincere adoration causes her to question her comfortable life, and, despite the protests of Armand's scandal-wary father (Lionel Barrymore), she considers leaving the Baron for him.

Daniel Mann's I'll Cry Tomorrow (1955), starring Susan Hayward, Richard Conte, Eddie Albert, Jo Van Fleet, Don Taylor and Virginia Gregg.

Description: This acclaimed biopic tells the cautionary tale of Broadway star Lillian Roth (Susan Hayward), who by the age of 20 has risen to fame due to the efforts of her pushy mother. Though a success on stage, Lillian has her hopes of happiness dashed when her fiancé dies tragically, and responds to her loss by drinking. Alcoholism and a string of failed marriages destroy Lillian's career and ultimately leave her destitute. After a brush with death, however, Lillian resolves to return to the spotlight.

Also this week, the Criterion Collection have a 4K UHD upgrade for Michael Curtiz's Mildred Pierce (1945), starring Joan Crawford, Jack Carson, Zachary Scott, Eve Arden, Ann Blyth and Bruce Bennett. Sourced from a 4K master, Criterion presents Mildred Pierce on 4K UHD with HDR and LPCM Mono audio. Extras on the included Blu-ray match the previous 2017 edition, with a conversation with critics Molly Haskell and Robert Polito, the 88-minute documentary Joan Craw­ford: The Ultimate Movie Star (2002) an excerpt of The David Frost Show from 1970 featuring Crawford, and interviews with Ann Blyth and author James M. Cain. A leaflet contains an essay by critic Imogen Sara Smith.

Coming to Blu-ray this week from Arrow Video is Narciso Ibáñez Serrador's The House That Screamed (1969), starring Lilli Palmer, Cristina Galbó, John Moulder-Brown, Cándida Losada, Mary Maude and Maribel Martín. Sourced from a new 2K remaster by Arrow Video, they present The House That Screamed with a choice of two versions of the film: the 105-minute uncut version, titled The Finishing School (La Residencia) with both original English and Spanish audio, or the 94 minute US theatrical version, The House that Screamed. Extras include new audio commentary by critic Anna Bogutskaya, a previously unreleased interview with actor John Moulder-Brown, new interviews with Juan Tébar, author of the original story, and the director's son, Alejandro Ibáñez, along with much more. Collectible packaging includes a reversible sleeve and limited edition collector's booklet, while in addition to standard packaging, an Arrow Video Exclusive Original Artwork Slipcover will also be available. New on Blu-ray from Radiance Films is Alain Cavalier's Fill 'er up with Super (Le Plein de super) (1976), starring Patrick Bouchitey, Étienne Chicot, Bernard Crombey, Xavier Saint-Macary, Béatrice Agenin and Nathalie Baye. Radiance presents the film from a new 2K master with French: LPCM 2.0 Mono audio and optional English subtitles. Extras include a 2019 interview with actor Bernard Crombey, three short films with the cast directed by Cavalier: My Wife Lives in Fear, It's a Full House and The King of the Bottle (all 2011) and more. Finally this week, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has two 4K UHD re-releases in SteelBook packaging: Wolfgang Petersen's Air Force One (1997), starring Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Glenn Close, Wendy Crewson, Liesel Matthews and Paul Guilfoyle, and Martin Campbell's The Mask of Zorro (1998), starring Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stuart Wilson, Matt Letscher, Maury Chaykin. Both films were previously released on 4K UHD in 2018 and 2020, respectively, but now are re-released in SteelBook packaging with Dolby Vision HDR.
