Austria Blu-ray Sales Picking Up Pace

According to a new report from GfK Retail and Technology, the sale of Blu-ray Disc players in Austria has increased substantially this year. Retailers have reported that during the second quarter, Blu-ray unit sales accounted for 10% of all player sales and grabbed a 37% value market share.
The report is quick to point out that the increase in sales is likely due to the increased demand for Blu-ray players in general, along with a steady decrease in player prices.
