The four-wheel-action sequel '
Fast & Furious' was the top-
selling title on Blu-ray on the week ended August 2, according to data from
Nielsen VideoScan First Alert. 'Fast & Furious' showed surprising strength
on BD, outselling the number one from the previous week, '
Watchmen', by nearly three to one. The first instalment of
the franchise, '
The Fast and the Furious', now available separately, also
made a respectable sixth place.

Also, the BD market share for 'Watchmen' held at 32%.
Revenue from Blu-ray sales was $30.31 million, up 324.65% from the same week last year. DVD revenue was $178.70 million, up 3.65% from the same week last year. BD accounted for 14.5% of total packaged-media sales revenue.
