Lionsgate Home Entertainment has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Darren Aronofsky's The Whale (2022), starring Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, Ty Simpkins, Samantha Morton, and Hong Chau. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on March 14.
Description: From Darren Aronofsky comes The Whale, the story of a reclusive English teacher living with severe obesity who attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter for one last chance at redemption. Starring Brendan. Fraser and based on the acclaimed play by Samuel D. Hunter.
As of January 24, the film has earned three Academy Award nominations, including Best Actor for Fraser, Best Supporting Actress for Chau, and Best Makeup and Hairstyling for Adrien Morot, Judy Chin, and Anne Marie Bradley.
