Blu-ray.com is constantly looking for ways to make this site more and more
informative and useful. Now our administrators have added another new
feature: a price tracker for movies, which you can use to track the price of
all the titles that you are interested in, and be notified any time the
Amazon price of any of them meets your criteria.
To price-track a title, just go to the title. Below the cover image, you'll see
two buttons: "Add to collection" and "Set price tracking": click on the
second button. You can manage all price trackings on your "My Blu-
ray.com" menu (on the left-hand sidebar) under "My price tracker".
You can track based on both price and percent-off (discount percentage).
Whenever a title meets your criteria, you will be notified by a big, green
notification at the top of the site.
For example, let us say you are interested in '
The Bourne Trilogy' (which has
an MSRP of $119.98 and as of this writing goes for $72.99, or 39% off), but
you won't pay over $65 for it. You can then click on "Set price tracking"
and, on the query page, type "65" in the "My price" box, and then click on
"Track title!". Then you can forget about keeping track of the pricing,
because the site will do that for you. The procedure is the same,
mutatis mutandis, using percent-off: you name your discount
percentage and the site will alert you if and when you can have it.
The tracking is almost real-time with Amazon.
Of course, if you set a very low price, you can wait for it forever. The site is
not responsible for that.
