The week ended July 26 belonged clearly to Warner's '
Watchmen', which was the top-selling title on Blu-ray,
according to Nielsen Videoscan First Alert. The other major new entry,
Universal's stop-motion fantasy film '
Coraline', got in second place.
The number-one title of the previous week, Lionsgate's '
The Haunting
in Connecticut', dropped to number 5.
Here is the Blu-ray top 10 (previous-week ranking in parenthesis):
- • Watchmen

- (1) The Haunting in Connecticut
- (r) 2001: A Space Odyssey

(Note that we only had the top 10 for the previous week, and that
numbers 9 and 10 were actually tied for ninth place.)

this week,
'
Pushing
Daisies: The Complete Second Season' and '
