British distributors Third Window Films have revealed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of
Gakuryű Ishii's Electric Dragon 80.000 V (2001), starring Tadanobu Asano, Yoshiki Arizono, Masakatsu Funaki, and Masatoshi Nagase. The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year.
Plot: A violent, guitar-playing, electrically charged boxer faces off against an electronic wizard half-merged with a metallic Buddha.
