Sony Announces Three New Blu-ray Players

Sony has announced that they will bring two Blu-ray Disc Mega Changers and one Blu-ray Disc Player to the market this fall. Both the Sony BDP-CX7000ES and the Sony BDP-CX960 will hold 400 discs (Blu-ray, DVD, and CD) and connect to GraceNote for disc title information. Both changers will feature full Blu-ray playback support.
The Sony BDP-S1000ES Blu-ray Disc player will feature an integrated WiFi connection, negating the requirement for a physical Internet connection. Like the mega changers, this single-disc player will feature full Blu-ray playback support.
Both the BDP-CX7000ES and the BDP-S1000ES machines are part of Sony's Elevated Standard (ES) Series, meaning that they are built to higher level of precision and quality.
The Sony BDP-CX7000ES and BDP-S1000ES will be released next month at a MSRP of $1900 and $700 respectively. The BDP-CX960 will be released later this fall for $800.
