Image Entertainment/Criterion Goes Exclusively Blu? (Updated)

A few months back, GalleryPlayer declared they would begin releasing their content (which includes the largest library of protected high definition images) on Blu-ray. Today, they announced a partnership with Image Entertainment (who also hold distribution rights to many Criterion Collection films) to release four Blu-ray discs. Previously, Image Entertainment has released the 'Discovery Atlas' series on both high-def formats. What is unknown, is if this signifies Image Entertainment's desire to support Blu-ray exclusively, or if this stance is specific to this agreement. Edit: We contacted Image Entertainment and they told us they are format neutral with no plans to stop supporting either format. The four releases coming this fall from GalleryPlayer/Image Entertainment are:
