Lionsgate Home Entertainment topped the Blu-ray sales charts this past week with the Blu-ray release of '
The Haunting in Connecticut', while the previous week's top seller, Summit Entertainment's '
Knowing', slipped one spot to hold a close second place, according to Nielsen VideoScan First Alert. The Blu-ray release of '
Mad Men: Season Two', also a Lionsgate title, debuted in the third spot for the week ending July 19th.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' had a noticeable effect on Blu-ray sales last week, with '
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' and '
Harry Potter: Years 1-5' jumping back into the charts after an extended absence.

As regards market share, 'Mad Men: Season Two' had 22% of its sales on Blu-ray, while 'The Haunting in Connecticut' had 12%.
Home Media Magazine has also now published the pie chart comparing aggregate unit sales of the top 20 BDs versus the top 20 DVDs. The split for this week is 8% BD: 92% DVD.
Blu-ray revenues for the week were $11.18 million, up 90.63% from the same week last year. Total packaged-media sales revenues were $139.07 million, down 13.48% year-on-year.
BD accounted for 8.0% of total packaged-media sales revenue.
