For the week of October 17th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release David Leitch's Bullet Train, starring Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Zazie Beetz and Michael Shannon.
Studio description: In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug's latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe – all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives – on the world's fastest train...and he's got to figure out how to get off. From the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, the end of the line is only the beginning in a wild, non-stop thrill ride through modern-day Japan.
Sony's 4K UHD release of Bullet Train contains Dolby Vision HDR and the film's Dolby Atmos track. Extras include audio commentary, outtakes and bloopers and featurettes. In addition to standard packaging, a SteelBook and a Walmart Exclusive with Alternate Artwork will also be available.
Also coming this week from Sony are two catalog titles on Blu-ray: John Byrum's The Razor's Edge (1984), starring Bill Murray, Theresa Russell, Catherine Hicks, Denholm Elliott, and James Keach. Extras include the film's theatrical trailer.
Then from Sony is Chris Smith's documentary American Movie (1999). Extras include director and cast commentary, deleted scenes and the film's theatrical trailer.
New this week from Lionsgate is a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Halina Reijn's Bodies Bodies Bodies, starring Lee Pace, Rachel Sennott, Pete Davidson, Amandla Stenberg and Maria Bakalova. Please note that the 4K UHD release for Bodies Bodies Bodies is currently a Best Buy Exclusive.

Lionsgate's Blu-ray releases for Bodies Bodies Bodies contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, while the 4K UHD disc also contains Dolby Vision HDR. Finally from Lionsgate is a Blu-ray for Katie Aselton's Mack & Rita, starring Diane Keaton, Taylour Paige, Elizabeth Lail, Wendie Malick, and Dustin Milligan.

New this week from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is a 4K UHD and Blu-ray for Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, starring the voices of Jack Dylan Glazer, Jack Griffo, Troy Baker, Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey and Darin De Paul.

Warner's releases of Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons contain the featurette Rival Sons: Jonathan and Damian and two episodes from the DC Comics vault of TV series. Also coming from Warner is a Blu-ray for The Flash: The Complete Eighth Season (2021-2022). The four-disc set contains all 20 episodes, along with deleted scenes a gag reel and featurettes.
New this week on Blu-ray from IFC Films is Eskil Vogt's The Innocents (De uskyldige) (2021), starring Rakel Lenora Fløttum, Alva Brynsmo Ramstad and Sam Ashraf.
Description: During the bright Nordic summer, a group of children reveal mysterious powers. But what starts out innocent soon takes a dark and violent turn in this gripping supernatural thriller.
Reviewer Randy Miller was quite taken with The Innocents, praising the Blu-ray's "carefully-polished visuals" and its "very crisp appearance and tastefully-added film grain, aided of course by its beautiful lighting and tight compositions" and saying that the film's DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio "features a potent sonic atmosphere that isn't afraid to dig into the rear channels". New this week from Shout Factory and GKIDS is a Blu-ray for Masashi Ando and Masayuki Miyaji's The Deer King (鹿の王 ユナと約束の旅).

Also from Shout this week is a 4K UHD upgrade for Dan O'Bannon's The Return of the Living Dead, starring Clu Gulager, James Karen, Don Calfa, Thom Mathews and Beverly Randolph. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Shout's release is a three-disc set with the film on 4K UHD with Dolby Vision HDR and DTS-HD MA 5.1, 2.0 Stereo and Mono audio tracks, as well as a Blu-ray from the new 4K master. Extras are spread over all three discs and include four audio commentaries, zombie subtitles, the More Brains! documentary and additional extras from their 2016 Blu-ray.
New this week from Paramount Home Media Distribution is a Blu-ray for Rob Minkoff and Chris Bailey's Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank, starring the voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, Mel Brooks and Djimon Hounsou.
Studio description: In this fun-filled family adventure, a hard-on-his-luck hound Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain's (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map. Reviewer Martin Liebman gave the film high scores for picture and sound quality, saying:"The picture is a delight, bringing out just about all the detail the original animation can muster, pushing the [Blu-ray] format hard". Also from Universal this week is a Blu-ray for the limited series The Thing About Pam (2022), starring Renée Zellweger, Josh Duhamel, Judy Greer and Gideon Adlon. The two-disc set contains all 6 episodes.

Finally this week, Kino Lorber have a 4K UHD upgrade for Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder (2008), starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte, and Steve Coogan. Sourced from a new 4K master by Paramount Pictures that was supervised and approved by Stiller. Kino brings the theatrical version of Tropic Thunder to 4K UHD with Dolby Vision HDR and the film's audio commentary. An included Blu-ray features the remastered director's cut of the film with audio commentary and legacy video extras.
