Code Red has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Riki Shelach Nissimoff's action thriller Mercenary Fighters (1988), starring Reb Brown, Peter Fonda, Ron O'Neal, James Mitchum, and Robert DoQui. The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, will be available for purchase on September 20.
Description: International mercenaries descend on an African tribe to smother an uprising as pawns of a corrupt African President. Acting legend Peter Fonda stars as one of the mercs who realize they've been duped and sets out to make things right. Cinematography by Daniel Schneor (Red Riding Hood).
