StudioCanal are preparing a Blu-ray release of Lewis Milestone's They Who Dare (1954), starring Dirk Bogarde, William Russell, Harold Siddons, Eric Pohlmann, and Akim Tamiroff. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 5.
Synopsis: 1954 WWII film directed by Lewis Milestone and starring Dirk Bogarde, Denholm Elliott and Akim Tamiroff. Based on Operation Anglo in the Dodecanese islands, that took place at the height of WWII. German planes are disrupting the lines of communication between the Allies and their forces in Africa. Lieutenant Graham (Bogarde) leads a raiding party on German-controlled airfields in Rhodes to free the airwaves from enemy interference.
