Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the release of the new Ken Burns documentary '
National Parks: America's Best Idea' on Blu-ray on October 6, day-and-date with the DVD and shortly after airing on PBS. This 12-hour, six-part documentary tells the human history of five of the nation's most important and most heavily visited National Parks and the people who made them possible.
Video will be 1.78:1 HD, with 2.0 and 5.1 surround tracks (there is no information about the presence of a lossless audio track). Subtitles are in English and Spanish.
