BOX SET CONTENT:

Reprise (2006)

Description: Phillip (Anders Danielsen Lie) and Erik (Espen Klouman Høiner) have been best friends since childhood. Both young men share a passion for the works of reclusive novelist Sten Egil Dahl, and both harbor literary ambitions. However, fate deals differently with the friends as each strives to make his dream come true.

Oslo, August 31 (2011)

Description: Anders is about to finish a detox treatment in a rural center. As part of his therapy, one morning he goes to the city to perform for a job interview. Taking advantage of the permit, he stays in the city and meets people who have not seen for a long time. He is an intelligent man, handsome and of good family, but he is deeply disturbed by the opportunities he has missed and by the people he has disappointed. However, when night comes he dreams of finding love and starting a new life full of hope in the future from the next day. Starring Anders Danielsen Lie, Hans Olav Brenner, Ingrid Olava, and Renate Reinsve.

The Worst Person in the World (2021)

Description: Acclaimed filmmaker Joachim Trier (Oslo, August 31st, Louder Than Bombs) returns with The Worst Person in the World, a wistful and subversive romantic drama about the quest for love and meaning. Set in contemporary Oslo, it features a star-making lead performance from Renate Reinsve as a young woman who, on the verge of turning thirty, navigates multiple love affairs, existential uncertainty and career dissatisfaction as she slowly starts deciding what she wants to do, who she wants to be, and ultimately who she wants to become.

As much a formally playful character study as it is a poignant and perceptive observation of quarter-life angst, this life-affirming coming of age story deservedly won Reinsve the Best Actress award at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
