Hollywood in Hi-Def Launches

The marketing minds of Disney, Fox, and Sony have come together and created a website dedicated to educating consumers on the advantages of Blu-ray over DVD. That website, hollywoodinhidef.com, features a blog by industry expert Scott Hettrick, a compilation of Blu-ray news from across the Internet, and information on current and future Blu-ray releases. News and future release information comes from the usual sources (though, we mysteriously weren't invited to play), and so do the reviews. A special review of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' was contributed by Bill Hunt, editor of The Digital Bits, a treat from the legendary website who recently endorsed Blu-ray as the successor to DVD. The most interesting thing about the website is that it never exactly comes out and states that it is a Blu-ray website. Of course, one look at the content is all you will need to see its true color: Blu. Hollywood in Hi-Def
