For the week of May 9th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Ruben Fleischer's Uncharted, starring Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. Released just weeks after Holland's third Spider-Man film for Sony, Uncharted topped the box office over the President's Day holiday weekend with over $51 million, prompting Sony Pictures CEO Tom Rothman to declare the film--which is adapted from the video game series of the same name--to be the beginning of "a new hit movie franchise". In total, the film has grossed over $146 million domestically and over $395 million globally so far. This week, Sony will release the film on 4K UHD with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio, while the bundled Blu-ray includes an audio commentary with Fleischer, six behind the scenes featurettes and Blu-ray-exclusive extras, like deleted and extended scenes. In addition to standard packaging, a SteelBook edition will also be available.
Also new this week, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, in association with MGM, has a Blu-ray for Reid Carolin and Channing Tatum's Dog, starring Channing Tatum, Q'orianka Kilcher, Jane Adams, Kevin Nash, and Cayden Boyd. The road movie, which saw Tatum as both star and in his directorial debut, was a success both critically and at the box office, grossing over $61 million domestically and over $77 million worldwide on a reported budget of just $15 million. Also from Warner Bros. this week is another addition to their Warner Archive Collection of Blu-rays, Blake Edwards' The Carey Treatment, starring James Coburn, Jennifer O'Neill, Pat Hingle, Skye Aubrey and Elizabeth Allen.
Description: Dr. Peter Carey (James Coburn) moves to Boston, where he becomes a pathologist at a prominent hospital and gets involved with Georgia Hightower (Jennifer O'Neill). Soon the teenage daughter (Elizabeth Allen) of the chief doctor comes into the hospital with severe injuries from a failed illegal abortion. After she dies, Carey's friend, Dr. David Tao, is arrested for performing the surgery. Carey knows that Tao is innocent, and he uses forceful detective tactics to determine who is guilty. New this week from Decal Releasing is a Blu-ray for Sean Ellis' The Cursed, starring Boyd Holbrook, Kelly Reilly, Alistair Petrie, Roxane Duran and Nigel Betts.
Synopsis: In the late 1800s, a man arrives in a remote country village to investigate an attack by a wild animal but discovers a much deeper and sinister force that has the manor and its townspeople in its grip.

All five films contain HDR and lossless DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio tracks. Archival extras include retrospective documentaries, production photographs, theatrical trailers and more. All five films will also be available individually, as well.
Finally this week, it should be noted that Universal will also release the first four films in the Jurassic Park franchise as separate 4K UHD editions. Previously, 4K UHD editions of Jurassic Park (1993), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Jurassic Park III (2001) and Jurassic World (2015) were only available in box sets.
