Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Juho Kuosmanen's Compartment No. 6 (2021), starring Yuri Borisov, Seidi Haarla, Dinara Drukarova, and Yuliya Aug. The release will be available for purchase on June 7.
Compartment No. 6 is Finland's official submission to the Best International Feature Film category of the 94th Academy Awards in 2022.
Official studio description: A young Finnish woman escapes an enigmatic love affair in Moscow by boarding a train to the arctic port of Murmansk. Forced to share the long ride and a tiny sleeping car with a larger than life Russian miner, the unexpected encounter leads the occupants of Compartment No. 6 to face major truths about human connection.
