Discotek Media has announced its June batch of Blu-ray releases. They are: Uzumaki (2000), Kekkaishi: The Complete Series (2006-2008), Urusei Yatsura Movie 4: Lum the Forever (1986), Galactic Whirlwind Sasuraiger: The Complete TV Series (1983-1984), Sgt. Frog: The Complete Second Season (2005-2006), and Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation (2017).
Uzumaki
Description: There's something evil going around… and around… and around…
Based on a Japanese manga, Higuchinsky's Uzumaki follows the residents of a remote town as they inexplicably become obsessed with spiral shapes. Kirie (Eriko Hatsune), a young schoolgirl, first notices this phenomena when she encounters her boyfriend's father (Ren Osugi), maniacally videotaping a snail crawling up a wall. Later, her brooding beau, Shuichi (Fhi Fan), reveals that the odd behavior goes further--his father has filled an entire room with various spiral objects.
And that's merely the beginning of the insanity--soon one classmate arrives at school covered in thick, clear slime and the leader of a girl gang begins wearing her hair in gravity-defying swirly strands. Before long, this growing madness leads to a series of gruesome and unbelievably bizarre deaths.

Unfortunately for the tree, the makeshift film crew plans to cut it down! However, when they do cut it down… Lum loses her powers for some reason! What's more, the gang then finds themselves trapped within different movies that all seem to fulfill their wildest dreams!

The label has also announced that it is preparing a SteelBook Blu-ray Edition of Cyber City Oedo 808, which will be available for purchase in July.
