Janus Films has provided us with an official trailer for the new 4K restoration of David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006), starring Laura Dern, Jeremy Irons, Justin Theroux, Karolina Gruszka, and Grace Zabriskie. The restoration is currently screening in select theaters across the nation.
Also included with this announcement is an official poster from Janus Films.
The Criterion Collection is expected to release Inland Empire on Blu-ray later this year.
Description: A blonde actress is preparing for her biggest role yet, but when she finds herself falling for her co-star, she realizes that her life is beginning to mimic the fictional film that they're shooting. Adding to her confusion is the revelation that the current film is a remake of a doomed Polish production, 47, which was never finished due to an unspeakable tragedy.
