Kino Lorber have revealed that they are preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Clive Barker's thriller
Underworld a.k.a.
Transmutations (1985), starring Denholm Elliott, Steven Berkoff, Larry Lamb, Nicola Cowper, and Art Malik. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Synopsis: When upscale hooker Nicole is kidnapped from her brothel, businessman Hugo Motherskille hires her ex-lover Roy Bain to find her. While investigating the girl's disappearance, Bain bumps into Dr. Savary, who has created a white powder coveted by a race of deformed human beings who live in the in the sewers below the city.
