Cohen Media: Year of the Jellyfish and Gagarine Prepped for Blu-ray

Cohen Media plans to release on Blu-ray Christopher Frank's Year of the Jellyfish (1984) and Jérémy Trouilh and Fanny Liatard's Gagarin (2020). The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market later this year.
Description: Set in Saint Tropez during mid-summer, this biting coming of age story is a tale of obsession and sexual desire. A young woman vacations in an upscale beach resort with her mother, where it becomes clear that a layer of secrets and jealousy lay beneath the sun-drenched paradise. Since its initial release in 1984, Year of the Jellyfish has become a cult classic in France. Starring Valérie Kaprisky, Bernard Giraudeau, and Caroline Cellier.
Description: Youri, 16, has lived all his life in Gagarine Cité, a vast red brick housing project on the outskirts of Paris. From the heights of his apartment, he dreams of becoming an astronaut. But when plans to demolish his community's home are leaked, Youri joins the resistance. With his friends Diana and Houssam, he embarks on a mission to save Gagarine, transforming the estate into his own "starship" – before it disappears into space forever.
The film was shot on the cusp of the actual demolition of the Cité Gagarine housing project in collaboration with its residents in Ivry-sur-Seine.
