Kino: Three Classic Chuck Norris Films Prepped for Blu-ray

Kino Lorber has announced that it is preparing Blu-ray releases of three classic Chuck Norris films: Good Guys Wear Black (1978), A Force of One (1979), and The Octagon (1980). The three releases are expected to arrive on the marker later this year.

The three releases will be sold individually.

Good Guys Wear Black

Synopsis: Former soldier John T. Booker (Chuck Norris), who is now a teacher, takes a leave of absence when he learns his friends from Vietnam are mysteriously dying. Booker, who was part of an elite unit in the war called the Black Tigers, starts visiting his Army buddies to try to warn them that they are in danger. As more Black Tigers are killed, Booker connects the murder spree to a high-ranking Vietnamese official who is working with a U.S. politician (James Franciscus). NEW 2K MASTER.

A Force of One

Synopsis: When local Californian police find themselves powerless against the spread of drugs they call in a Vietnam veteran and karate champ to instruct them in the martial arts. However, when his son is killed by the local mob for knowing too much, he decides to take on the drugs barons himself. NEW 2K MASTER.

The Octagon

Synopsis: Scott James (Chuck Norris), a veteran martial arts expert, is recruited as the protector of the wealthy and beautiful Justine (Karen Carlson) after she becomes the target of a ninja clan. When Scott finds out that his ruthless archnemesis, McCarn (Lee Van Cleef), is involved with the stealthy and dangerous criminals, he is eager to settle old scores. Soon Scott is facing off against McCarn and the entire ninja horde in an effort to take them all down. NEW 2K MASTER
