Dead Heat 4K Blu-ray
Description: Detectives Doug Bigelow and Roger Mortis have just tried, and failed, to take down a ring of master thieves who have been targeting high end jewelry dealers. While orchestrating a massive siege, the thieves are violently eliminated; one blown apart and the other crushed. While being autopsied, the forensic pathologist makes an inexplicable discovery: the "dead" men were already dead before being "killed." In other words, they were zombies. With little information to go on besides the presence of a strange man-made substance in the cadaver's flesh, Bigelow and Mortis attempt to piece together the mystery, which eventually leads them to a chemical plant, wherein Mortis, true to his name, winds up killed by a hulking zombie. But who's better to fight zombie criminals than a zombie cop?
A novel take on the zombie film, Oscar nominee Mark Goldblatt's (The Punisher) directorial debut, DEAD HEAT is a tightly paced and darkly comedic action-horror film featuring plentiful gore effects and with an all-star cast, headlined by Emmy nominees Treat Williams (Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead), Joe Piscopo (Wise Guys), Darren McGavin (Kolchak: The Night Stalker), alongside horror icon Vincent Price (Theatre of Blood) in one of his final roles. Vinegar Syndrome proudly presents the worldwide 4K Blu-ray debut of DEAD HEAT, newly restored from its 35mm original negative!

Master of the World
Description: At the dawn of human civilization, hundreds of thousands of years ago, war was a way of life, with rivaling tribes and vicious nomads transforming the earth into a non-stop bloodbath. Bog, a young man who dreams of being the leader of not just his tribe, but all of human civilization, begins a bloodthirsty quest for domination, wherein he'll need to fight and conquer both man and beast to truly ascend to the power he so desperately craves.
An ultra gory Italian cash-in on the then popular Hollywood trope of ancient-times action/adventure films, notorious genre film auteur Alberto Cavallone's (A Man, A Woman, and a Beast) MASTER OF THE WORLD (aka Conqueror of the World) is a low rent/high sleaze saga of prehistoric man at his most brutal, complete with an array of shocking and dangerous animal stunts to balance out the human-on-human savagery. Never officially released on DVD, Vinegar Syndrome brings this gruesome epic to Blu-ray in both its original Italian and English dubbed versions, freshly restored in 4K from its 35mm original negative!

Fortress of Amerikkka
Description: Hidden deep in the forest next to sleepy Troma City, a band of ruthless mercenaries, the 'Fortress of Amerikkka,' have set up camp, practicing their violent tactics of war in preparation for an impending revolution. When the violence begins to take the lives of the townsfolk, John Whitecloud, a tough half-Indian with a bad reputation decides to take matters into his own hands and protect his community. But facing as much animosity from the townspeople as from the mercenaries themselves, John quickly learns that he'll be fighting two battles.
One of the gorier action films to be produced during Troma's golden age, Eric Louzil's (Class of Nuke 'em High 3) FORTRESS OF AMERIKKKA offers up a non-stop barrage of brutality, beheadings, impalings, stabbings, and a copious amount of sex and nudity. A long time casualty of dark and muddy VHS tapes, some containing the heavily censored R-rated version, Vinegar Syndrome Archive is proud to give FORTRESS OF AMERIKKKA the Blu-ray release it deserves, and has newly restored it from its original 35mm negative.
