Scorpion Releasing will release a standard edition of Fred Olen Ray's thriller Deep Space (1988), starring Charles Napier, Ann Turkel, Bo Svenson, Ron Glass, and Julie Newmar. The release will be available for purchase on February 22.
Synopsis: A U.S. satellite transporting a secretly engineered creature crashes to Earth near Los Angeles. Police officers McLemore (Charles Napier) and Sandbourn (Ann Turkel) are assigned to pursue the escaped mutant beast. Along the way, they clash with their superior, Capt. Robertson (Bo Svenson), and the scientists behind the project. Psychic Lady Elaine Wentworth (Julie Newmar) also lends them a hand before the beast and our heroes end up in a fight to the finish. Also starring Ron Glass (Barney Miller), James Booth (Avenging Force, Zulu), Elisabeth Brooks (The Howling), and Norman Burton (Scorchy, The Terminal Man) and directed by cult icon Fred Olen Ray.
