The folks at NEON confirmed earlier today via social media that the Criterion Collection will release on Blu-ray Joachim Trier's The Worst Person in the World (2021), starring Renate Reinsve, Anders Danielsen Lie, Maria Grazia Di Meo, Herbert Nordrum, and Hans Olav Brenner. The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year.
Earlier this year, the film won Best Actress Award (Renate Reinsve) at the Cannes Film Festival.
Official synopsis: The Worst Person in The World is a modern dramedy about the quest for love and meaning in contemporary Oslo. It chronicles four years in the life of Julie (Reinsve), a young woman who navigates the troubled waters of her love life and struggles to find her career path, leading her to take a realistic look at who she really is.
