Taiwan-based replicator U-Tech Media has received orders for Blu-ray movie discs from two of the world's top three ODM/OEM optical disc drive makers: Hitachi-LG Data Storage (HLDS) and Toshiba-Samsung Storage Technology (TSST). HLDS and TSST plan to offer free BD movie discs with their BD drives and players to promote sales.
U-Tech Media recently received the certification to replicate BD50 discs, as we reported
in May.
