Starz/Anchor Bay Firm Up First Releases

Starz Home Entertainment (formally known as Anchor Bay) have issued more details on their first Blu-ray release 'Masters of Horror' as well as named some releases coming this fall. 'Masters of Horror' will come on four BD-50s with PCM audio and all the extras from the DVD (where possible). More exciting, is the list of releases due this October, including 'Halloween', the 'Evil Dead' Series, and the 'Dawn of the Dead' Series. Starz will distribute through MGM (who distributes through 20th Century Fox), but it appears they have full control on disc development. Anchor Bay has one of the largest catalogs of classic horror films, so expect some quality releases from them soon.
