The MVD Rewind Collection is preparing a Blu-ray release of David Fisher's
Liar's Moon (1982), starring Matt Dillon, Cindy Fisher, Margaret Blye, Susan Tyrrell, and Tonja Walker. Currently, the release is set to arrive on the market on February 8.
Description: In Eastern Texas during a 1940s summer, working class teenager Jack falls in love with Ginny, the daughter of the town's banker. As the summer comes to a close, Jack and Ginny elope to Louisiana, where 17-year-olds can marry without parental consent. When Ginny learns that she's pregnant, and the town doctor relays some bad news, the couple's dreams seem to drift farther away from attainability.
