Vinegar Syndrome Reveals New Partner Label Releases

Vinegar Syndrome has announced and detailed seven new partner label releases that will be available for purchase later this month. They are: Summer of 84 (2018), Shatter Dead (1994), The Last Matinee (2020), Death of Nintendo (2020), Knife + Heart (2018), Shit & Champagne (2020), and Boardinghouse (1982).
Description: Summer, 1984. The perfect time to be 15 years old and free. But when neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong begins to suspect his police officer neighbor might be the serial killer all over the local news, he and his three best friends begin an investigation that soon turns dangerous.

Description: Four friends in 1990s Manila: Paolo, Mimaw, Kachi, and Gilligan - go on a journey of self- discovery together as they play games and wrestle with new dilemmas. A series of earthquakes leading up to Mt. Pinatubo's historic volcanic eruption has been causing blackouts across the country, preventing the kids from playing their usual escape: video games. After roaming the streets and getting beaten up the three boys decide on traditional circumcision as the ultimate answer to their problems while Mimaw pines for Paolo who is in love with a popular girl. Raya Martin's debut feature is a colorful tapestry of adolescent angst and retro yearnings that is a true delight.
Description: It rains heavily in Montevideo on a Sunday in 1993. A particularly suspicious man enters the last screening of a horror film at a downtown cinema. The room, which is not very crowded due to the storm outside, slowly starts to get stained with blood.
Ana, the projectionist's daughter, who has taken her father's place just for the night, is in charge of the show. In the darkness of the cinema, the spectators fall one by one into the hands of the killer. From the projection room, Ana begins to notice that something strange is happening. A teenager and a boy who slipped into the room meet Ana as they try to escape. Together they must face this sadistic and ruthless killer, to save their lives and avoid a massacre in the matinee.
