Code Red has announced that its upcoming Blu-ray release of Alan Gibson's Checkered Flag or Crash (1977) will be available for purchase in January 2022. The release will be distributed by Kino Lorber.
Description: Race car driver Walkaway Madden signs up for the big Manilla 1000 off-road race through the Philippines jungle. Photojournalist C.C. Wainwright intends to ride with him in that race. But Walkaway just wants to get rid of her. Fast-talking promoter Bo Cochran wants the race completed by any means necessary. Starring Joe Don Baker, Susan Sarandon, Larry Hagman, Alan Vint, and Parnelli Jones.
