Shout Factory is releasing Takashi Miike's cult movie '
Audition' on Blu-ray in October (the specific week is still to be confirmed). No audio or video specifications are available, but it will be a double-disc edition and will feature the uncut version, in a new high-definition transfer from the internegative, with a fresh digital stereo soundtrack.
Special features include:
- New audio commentary by director Miike and screenwriter Daisuke Tengan
- New video introduction by Miike
- Over 90 minutes of new interviews with the cast, including Ryo Ishibashi, Eihi Shiina, Renji Ishibashi and Ren Osugi
