Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release '
The Informers' on Blu-ray on August 25, day-and-date with the DVD. Video will be 1080p 2.40:1 AVC, accompanied by a 5.1 lossless track. Special features include a director and cast commentary, and the documentary "Human Intersections: Making The Informers".
This movie is based on a novel by Bret Easton Ellis and is set in 1980s Los Angeles, as a lost generation drifts through a world of "lust, greed and addiction". It stars Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Winona Ryder and Mickey Rourke.
