Sharp Announces New Player for UK

Sharp has announced a new Blu-ray player for the United Kingdom, model number BD-HP22H. The main improvement from its predecessor, the HP21H, is the addition of BD-Live. It will offer 1080p video (including 24p), and x.v.Color. It is very eco-friendly, drawing 20W in operation, and a mere 0.7W in standby. It will be available this month for £199.99.
