Severin Films has announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray Paul Morrissey's
Blood for Dracula (1974), starring Joe Dallesandro, Udo Kier, Vittorio De Sica, Maxime McKendry, and Arno Jürging. The release will be available for pre-order later this month.
The label has confirmed that the upcoming release is sourced from a brand new 4K master struck from the uncensored negative and color-graded with HDR. It will have a separate Blu-ray with bonus features as well as extended soundtrack for the film on separate CD disc.
Description: Deathly ill Count Dracula (Udo Kier) and his slimy underling, Anton (Arno Juerging), travel to Italy in search of a virgin's blood. They're welcomed at the crumbling estate of indebted Marchese Di Fiore (Vittorio De Sica), who's desperate to marry off his daughters to rich suitors. But there, instead of pure women, the count encounters incestuous lesbians with vile blood and Marxist manservant Mario (Joe Dallesandro), who's suspicious of the aristocratic Dracula.
