The Cohen Media Group has provided us with a promotional trailer for the 4K restoration of Jacques Rivette's film Gang of Four (1989), which has been fully restored in 4K. A Blu-ray release of the restoration, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Synopsis: Intimations of conspiracy hover over a group of actors in Rivette's playful revisiting of his debut, Paris Belongs to Us. Four women share a house and study acting with a legendary performer (Bulle Ogier). Outside class, each is questioned by a mysterious investigator on the trail of a former roommate who may be involved in a criminal enterprise.
