Discotek Media has announced its August slate of Blu-ray releases. They are: Lupin the 3rd Part III: The Pink Jacket Adventures (1984-1985), Future Robot Daltanious (1979-1980), Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple - The Complete First Season (2006-2007), Mitchiri Neko (2018), and Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics: Season 2 (1987-1989).
Future Robot Daltanious
Synopsis: Future Robot Daltanious contains episodes 1-47 of the anime directed by Katsutoshi Sasaki in standard definition on a Blu-ray disc.
Can the Earth be saved if it's already lost? In the far future of 1995, most of Earth has already been defeated by the alien Akron army. As Japan is being picked off bit by bit, a band of orphaned children, led by a boy named Kento Tate, survive by stealing what food they can. Escaping into a hidden cave, they discover alien technology from a race that was once conquered by the Akron. They meet Dr. Earl, who enlists the unwitting orphans into piloting the transforming robot Daltanious. Our planet isn't going down without a fight!
