Code Red has dated and detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of René Cardona Jr.'s Guyana: Cult of the Damned (1979). The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, will be available for purchase on August 24.
Synopsis: Reverend Jim Jones, the priest of an independent church in the South American country Guyana, orders his followers to commit suicide. But not all of them follow him blindly and begin to think on their own. Starring Gene Barry, John Ireland, Joseph Cotten, Yvonne De Carlo, Hugo Stiglitz, and Tony Young.
