Scorpion Releasing has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Burt Topper's action thriller The Devil's 8 (1969), starring Christopher George, Fabian, Tom Nardini, Ross Hagen, Ron Rifkin, and Robert DoQui. The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, will be available for purchase on August 31.
Synopsis: Federal Agent Christopher George (Grizzly, Pieces, Enter the Ninja) infiltrates a prison chain gang and helps six hardened convicts escape in order to build a team to take down villainous crime boss Ralph Meeker (The Dirty Dozen, Something Wild, The Dead Don't Die). Finally, a new generation of action film buffs can see one of the long-forgotten greats. Cinematography by Richard C. Glouner (TV's Vega$, Columbo).
