Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of the movie 'The Boat That Rocked' in
Germany and
the UK for August 27 and September 21, respectively. This ensemble comedy about a pirate radio in mid-1960s Britain will be released theatrically in the US on August 28. Video will be 2.35:1 1080p accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.
Extras will include:
- Deleted scenes and introductions by director Richard Curtis (in HD)
- Audio commentary by Richard Curtis, Producer Hilary Bevan Jones and actors Nick Frost and Chris O'Dowd
