For the week that ended on April 10th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Wonder Woman 1984 topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts for the second week in a row. The sequel to 2017's smash hit Wonder Woman had been intended to be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic changed those plans. After moving the film's theatrical release date multiple times, Warner eventually decided to release the film on Christmas Day 2020, with a simultaneous release on their HBO Max streaming platform. Despite everything, the film earned over $45 million at the domestic box office. This week, Wonder Woman 1984 had an HD share of 53%, with 16% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Remaining in second place on both charts is Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Soul. The latest film from Pixar Animation Studios, Soul had its domestic theatrical release cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it still managed to make over $118 million in select international territories. The film won also won two Golden Globes and has three Oscar nominations. This week, Soul sold 17% as many units as Wonder Woman 1984, with an HD share of 44% and 8% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Also staying put in third place on both charts is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's News of the World. Paul Greengrass' Western stars Tom Hanks as a Civil War veteran who is enlisted to deliver a girl back to her family after she had been captured by the Kiowa tribe many years ago. The film opened on Christmas Day in the US only and has grossed over $12 million at the box office. This week, News of the World sold 15% as many units as Wonder Woman 1984, with an HD share of 42% and 6% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

So, for a bright spot this week, look no further than Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, a vacation-based comedy starring Annie Mumolo and Wonder Woman 1984's Kristen Wiig. Lionsgate made the film available in both standard and Target Exclusive editions, with the latter having a lenticular cover and over 20 minutes of additional content on the Blu-ray. Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar had an HD share of 68% this week.
