Vinegar Syndrome has announced its March slate of Blu-ray releases. They are: Last Gasp (1995), Death Promise (1977), Rush Week (1989), and Furies Sexuelles (1976).
Synopsis: The residents of a dilapidated New York tenement building are being harassed and threatened by Iguana Realty, the dummy corporation which owns the land, in an effort to force them out of their homes. But when karate master Charley's father is murdered by a group of thugs hired by the landlords, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Enlisting the help of his best friend, fellow fighter Speedy, and driven by a desire for vengeance, they soon develop a plan to murder each board member of Iguana Realty. However, what they don't realize is that their final target is someone much closer to home...
A genre blending grindhouse classic that perfectly embodies the mid 70s, NYC lensed exploitation film aesthetic, Robert Warmflash's DEATH PROMISE oozes sublime 70s sleaze from beginning to end. Starring Charles Bonet (Don't Go in the House) alongside Speedy Leacock, stuntman Thompson Kao Kang (The Black Dragon), and martial arts film legend Tony Liu (Way of the Dragon), Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present the worldwide Blu-ray debut of DEATH PROMISE, newly restored in 2K from its original 35mm camera negative!

Synopsis: Toni Daniels is an ambitious young journalist working for her college newspaper. Despite being certain that something terrible has been happening on campus, no one she talks to is willing to admit that the disappearances are cause for concern. Undeterred, Tori decides to investigate the mystery on her own, but before long finds herself becoming embroiled in a twist filled saga of deeply buried, and bloody secrets which attract the attention of a sadistic killer who will stop at nothing to hide the truth...
One of the last films to emerge out of the 1980s slasher heyday, acclaimed stuntman Bob Bralver's (Roadhouse, Darkman) feature filmmaking debut, RUSH WEEK, is a stylish and suspenseful mix of classic whodunit storytelling and slice n' dice sensibilities. Starring Pamela Ludwig (Pale Blood), Dean Hamilton (TV's 21 Jump Street), and Roy Thinnes (TV's The X-Files), Vinegar Syndrome brings this slasher sleeper to its long overdue Blu-ray debut, newly restored in 2K!

Synopsis: Alain Payet was one of the first, and most controversial, auteurs to take full advantage of France's legalization of hardcore sex in the cinema. Eschewing the superficial fluff pieces being directed by his peers, Payet's films delved into the strange and perverse underbelly of Parisian sex culture. Presented here are his two earliest hardcore ventures, both produced by frequent Jess Franco collaborator, Robert de Nesle.
Marie-Madeleine is a shopgirl who, at the persuasion of her lecherous boss, has begun exchanging sexual favors with the store's most affluent clientele. After being fired for refusing one of her customer's advances, she finds solace in a squalid bar, which turns out to be a haven for prostitutes. Deciding to try her hand at the profession once again, but this time on her own terms, Marie is quickly immersed into a world of increasingly debauched and hedonistic experiences which soon threaten to destroy her in body and soul. A fittingly seedy and well directed drama, FURIES SEXUELLES (aka Les Marie-Madeleine) is presented here in its totally uncensored original director's cut, completely unseen since 1976. (106 min)
Claudine and Martine are two young women who work as glamor models. But that's only a cover for their actual profession: high class call girls servicing the whims and hidden fantasies of Paris' high society. A virtual who's who of early French hardcore, PROSTITUTION CLANDESTINE stars Claudine Beccarie (Exhibition), Sylvia Bourdon (Pussy Talk), Pamela Stanford (Cannibal Terror), and many others and is presented totally uncut for the first time on video. (104 min)
