Warner Home Video has announced that it will bring '
Supernatural: The Complete Fourth Season' to Blu-ray on September 1, day-and-date with the DVD. The release will consist of four BD50 discs to house the 22 episodes of the season. Video will be 1.78:1 1080p, accompanied by a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track.
Special features are as follows:
- The Mythologies of Supernatural: From Heaven to Hell – three-section featurette gallery bridging Heaven, Purgatory and Hell to examine
- Key Mythological Precepts
- Creator commentary on three key episodes
